Welcome to the Orpington Baptist Church Youth website.

On this web site you will be able to find Information about: the various groups we have running, how to contact us, the team of people who work and volunteer here, what’s going on this week and any news.

The youth work at OBC is in two sections: OBC Youth and the Drop In.

OBC Youth runs the young people’s Church activities.

Drop In runs the community activities.

Both are staffed and run by the same groups of people, and work together to provide exciting activities for all the young people who attend.

Service

Want to serve the community/Church/God?

We need young people to volunteer for helping at:

  • Our children's Holiday Bible Club (26th - 29th Augus);
  • A Family fun day organised by Urban Saints on Thursday 31st;
  • Our children's All-Hallows Party in October

Dates for you diaries:

Party Night:  The first of the new season of party nights is on Saturday 15th November (NOT September) at OBC, £3, DJ, Band, Non-Alcoholic Cocktail bar, and of course, lots of dancing!

Youth Weekend: We're off to the Isle of Wight on 17th - 19th October. So if you're school year 7+ come along for a fun-filled weekend at a bargain price of £79!

Passion Weekend: The next Passion weekend is on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October at St Paul's, Crofton.

Academy Sponsored Walk: Last year was great fun crossing 7 bridges on the Thames, this year, on Saturday September 13th, we're going to the Royal Parks in Central London to raise money for our 'John' appeal.

CTIO Footie Tournament: Runners-up last time, in October let's go one better and win the cup!  Date T.B.C.

Czech Republic/Miriam: In Summer 2009 we hope to go on a 'Mission Project' in Miriam's home town.  Let us know if you're up for it!

Delirious? The band Delirious? are touring the UK in October, if you want to go an see them, speak to Daren who will book tickets.
