Western Area Life Groups

The Western area in Orpington lies to the west of the mainline railway line but excludes the Central area around the Church location. It includes areas such as Farnborough, Green St Green, Orpington Hospital area, Tubbenden, Chelsfield west of the railway and of course out into the countryside of Pratts Bottom, Downe, Cudham and in towards London. If you are not sure, please ask me.

There are currently three LIFE Groups in the Western area (all contact numbers are 01689, Orpington):

- Fran Morris (859241) and Soo Chu Clift (818646) lead a group meeting on Tuesday evenings.

- On Wednesday the other two groups meet. They are led by Andy & Sharon Powell (833947) and Dave & Pauline Clark (852018) and Doug & Wendy Collins (860589) and Joan Collins (850589).

We are hoping that there will soon be new groups starting up offering further opportunities of including more. One aspect of the groups this autumn will be to seek to include those who are more housebound so that they can receive ongoing help and assistance.

A very warm welcome is extended to anyone who would like to join a group. Because they meet in various homes it is a good idea to telephone ahead of the meeting to be sure of the venue. If you would like to know more or are experiencing difficulties, please contact the church office.
