The Leprosy Mission is a Christian charity working in 29 developing countries to:

• work in co-operation with goverments, voluntary groups and other agencies to bring leprosy under control.
• provide long term support for ex-patients who have been disabled by the disease.
• detect leprosy early so that a course of multi-drug therapy which would kill the bacillis, may be given.
