Tools with a mission(TWAM) was founded some 20 years ago, originally
to provide tool kits for BMS workers.
It was realised that there were many unused tools lying about in
sheds etc. these could be collected, stored, and made servicable
and made up into tool kits. When TWAM became established and known
other requests came from overseas. So tools and sewing machines have
been sent overseas, largely to Africa.
Formed as a subsidiary of the Baptist Men's Movement, TWAM is
now an independent charity and is interdenominational, with Headquarters
at Ispwich. There are men and women vounteer workers nowadays, together
with three paid staff.
Please contact TWAM if you
wish to arrange a Tool Collection.
