MiniKidz
Crèche cares for babies and toddlers up to the age of 3. It
is led by Helen Stockman who is supported by Catherine Knowles,
Jenny Tompsett and a team of helpers on a rota basis. Catherine
is responsible for the crèche when there is a Boys' and Girls'
Brigade Parade Service, usually the second Sunday most months.
The crèche is available in the upper hall each Sunday morning from 10.15am
until the end of the service. The upper hall can be accessed via the
stairs in the church building or the side door in Tower Road if you have a
buggy.
At the crèche welcome desk your buggy, baby bag and drinks will be labelled
to ensure that your child's needs are catered for during the morning. If
there are any problems or your child is very distressed a helper will come
and let you know so it is helpful to give an idea of where you will be sitting
in church.
Each Sunday there are at least 4 helpers looking after the children. The
children are able to play with a variety of toys including a climbing frame,
ride-upon toys, playdough, trains, cars, cuddly toys, soft toys, building bricks,
construction, jigsaws, books colouring paper and crayons.
On the first Sunday of the month you are encouraged to take your child into
church for the first part of the service if you would like to, as this is the
Sunday the KidZone Beginners also come into church.
The children can attend MiniKidz until their 3rd birthday, when they will be
welcomed into KidZone Beginners.
If
you have a newborn baby or are new to our church you may wish
to have a Service of Dedication for your child. Viv Cox
helps to co-ordinate these services. If you would like
to find out more please speak to one of the ministers who will
give you further details. |
